A Storm of Swords. George R.R. Martin's superb and highly acclaimed epic fantasy A Song of Ice and Fire, the richest, most exotic and mesmerising saga since The Lord of the Rings, continues with A Storm of Swords. There is passion here, and misery and charm, grandeur and squalor, tragedy, nobility and courage. ↑ A Storm of Swords, Appendix. ↑ 2.0 2.1 A Feast for Crows, Appendix. ↑ A Storm of Swords, Chapter 38, Tyrion V. ↑ A Feast for Crows, Chapter 21, The Queenmaker. ↑ A Feast for Crows, Chapter 40, Princess In The Tower. ↑ A Dance with Dragons, Chapter 38, The Watcher. After finishing Part 1 of A Storm of Swords of course I was going to carry on with Part 2. Such a great book, and such a great series. It just continues to blow me away. This half of A Storm of Swords is an absolute rollercoaster of a journey, with shock after shock after shock. The hits just kept on coming.
A Storm of Swords is exciting and the development of the characters are well drawn. With a history as rich as Lord of The Rings, Martin has surely outdone himself on this section of the book. More duels, more characters, more action, more sex, more blood and the greatest intertwining of all the characters as of yet.
