Increases damage when killing an enemy of the opposite sex. This increases durability of your melee weapons. This upgrade gives you a stamina boost when you kill with kicks. Perform powerful, wide attack while sprinting. Rank 1 = +5% damage. Rank 2 = +10% damage. Rank 3 = +15% damage. Rank 1 = +10% durability.
If you want to edit the delay manually: Open Data0.pak in Steam\steamapps\common\dead island\DI dir with winrar (or any other archive program). In the root dir of Data0.pak find inputs.scr and inputs_def.scr, copy them both to your My Documents\DeadIsland\out\Data folder. Create the Data folder if it does not already exist.
And since they are releasing Dead Island 2 soon, I guess they don't bother on fixing the bugs in this game. I found 5 more bugs that are SO annoying I just stopped playing the game, uninstalled in and are now playing Dead Island again instead. Hopefully they do a better job on Dead Island 2 that they did on this Riptide thing. Riptide btw.
